“guys wearing dresses” is a tired punchline for a joke, not to mention kinda sexist and transphobic.
“guys wearing suits of armor” now that’s comedy gold.
The more inappropriate the situation is for a suit of armor, the better.
A lot of people bring up formal dances in the notes as an inappropriate situation, and while that’s true, I don’t think you’re going far enough.
Imagine going square dancing in a full suit of armor. and a cowboy hat. Or a monster truck derby. Imagine doing a sexy carwash in a full suit of armor.
The possibilities are endless.
“OK, ready to sneak into the bank? Rookie, what are you wearing?” *rookie adjusts full-suit armor* “my best”
now that ive had my identity stolen i feel like a Real Adult
did i forget to mention it was my boss from claires and sallys that did this. the police called her and she played dumb for a minute before confessing. so at least i dont have to fight it lol
“Got my identity stolen at Claire’s” is something you’d expect from a shitpost and yet
i always tell people that it’s an actual problem that we can be watching TV and then someone makes eye contact with molly and we can no longer hear the dialogue, we have to read the subtitles.
and they think we are exaggerating, but a friend came to visit and discovered that, no, that actually happens.
Loud Girl
She sounds like she’s pretending to be a motorcycle!
she can do this for HOURS, by the way. you don’t have to be petting her. i lie down next to her and start reading, and off she goes. ❤
Cripes, that’s the sound the COUGARS make up at the wildlife rescue.
so disappointing when a straighty doesn’t know how to act cool after you make a gay joke. like it’s not a moral failing or a friendship deal breaker but damn like i wish you practiced your “im politely but unobtrusively smiling (NOT nodding) at a joke made at the own expense of a minority group by a member of that group to which i don’t belong” face in the mirror a little longer this morning you know. i dont think im asking too much!
The other day at work someone was talking about their gay cousin to me and mentioned Stonewall, then asked if I knew about it.
I said that they don’t let you be gay if you don’t.
And it got like. Zero response. I’m funny dammit.
that’s funny as hell im pouring one out for every gay joke ever told to a straight person without a sense of gay humour
having parents that were really angry and petty and abusive when you were young is weird, because it makes part of you grow up to want to be kind, to generate good things, to be a source of peace and wellbeing for others; but it makes another part of you grow up to be quick, and sharp, and spiteful, and that’s always the part that shows itself first in a hard situation, so it’s a struggle between your hateful gut reactions and your wish to not add any more misery to the world. it’s a hard balance, and the people who really, really know me – i know they see that anger flash in my eyes before i quiet it, if i quiet it…i want to overcome years of conditioning, and with gentle, constant force, i know i’ll mellow it. it just takes time.
no offens but people being overworked to death in industries like animation and making video games is a huge issue… like holy shit i’d prefer my favorite anime being delayed or a video game’s release being a bit late if it means people don’t suffer under intense conditions and stress
“On Wednesday night, 50 MPs voted for the legislation which was introduced by the Labor government and 41 MPs voted against it.
A termination was only lawful if it is to “prevent serious danger to the woman’s physical or mental health” but now abortion will be available up to 22 weeks gestation, after which the patient would require two separate doctors to approve the procedure.
The legislation will also introduce 150m safe-access zones around clinics to protect patients from harassment and intimidation by protestors.
Under the new legislation, which comes into effect in December, doctors who conscientiously object to abortion will be required to refer a patient seeking an abortion to a doctor who does not oppose abortion.” Gina Rushton, BuzzFeed News
