Guys please get tested, the more you know the better. It’s very important you keep up with the stays of your health and make sure your partners are getting tested too. I know everybody love sex but make sure it’s good clean sex.

reminder that having an STD isn’t dirty or shameful, it’s part of being a human and it happens!

there are cures and treatments for just about everything at this point, but you gotta catch them early on to keep them easily treatable and manageable and to prevent from spreading something you might not know you have, to other people.

so, get empowered, know your status, get tested early and regularly, know your partners statuses, don’t have sex with people who refuse to get tested or refuse to practice safe sex cuz they’re whack, and lastly if something does happen don’t feel ashamed, it’s happened to bunches and bunches of other people too. we are human beings. we need to remove the stigma, so people will actually go get tested and treated. that’s why i take issue with people saying “clean” versus “dirty”.

it will be confidential between you and your doctor, and you’re not alone. what’s MORE embarrassing is not knowing you have something, spreading it around to a bunch of people, and then having the moral obligation of having to call each and every one of them and telling them to get tested for x,y,z. so catch it early.

there are free clinics and sliding scale health services all over most towns, just hit up google
