Friendly reminder to not bother people about being on their phones in social situations if it looks like what they’re doing is important, one time my brother kept teasing me about texting my friends (and saying what I was talking to them about was probably pointless & stupid “girl stuff”) during family time to the point that I had to scream at him that my best friends mom almost died of an OD (which was something that my friend did not need other people knowing) and I hysterically cried the rest of the night so yeah more like a firm and aggressive reminder phones help connect people during important/serious and possibly very personal situations so stop bugging people about using them
