The senate committee deciding tomorrow whether to advance California’s net neutrality bill, SB 822, just released a TERRIBLE analysis calling for bad amendments to water down the bill and leave it riddled with huge loopholes for ISPs.1 That means that the ISPs like AT&T are getting to them. If this bill passes, it would be the strongest state net neutrality bill in the country. That’s why companies like AT&T and Comcast are in a frenzy trying to kill it with an army of lobbyists and astroturf groups.

If this bill dies in committee tomorrow, it will be a huge blow to the net neutrality movement, not just in California but everywhere. We can’t let that happen.
