okay so im reading conspiracy theories cause i just love to make myself more paranoid than i already am and i found the fortnite comet theory and tbh the thing that’s pissing me off the most is that a comet is a relatively small rocky body with a coma orbiting the sun, a meteoroid is a piece of an asteroid or comet that’s broken off, a meteor is the light given off by a meteoroid as it vapourises in the atmosphere, and a meteorite is a meteoroid that survives the atmosphere and impacts the earth so TECHNICALLY they should be calling it a meteor or a meteorite since they’re so sure it’s gonna impact
