fuck every democrat who says the issue of trans rights is a “distraction.” fuck every single liberal who say that the threat of stripping every trans person of legal recognition is a red herring or a losing issue and if we focus on it too long we’ll throw the election. we’re talking about human rights, access to medical care, sex education, discrimination, citizenship, and a whole lot else, for millions of people.
trans people aren’t a “distraction.” we’re human beings. the fact that so many liberals turn their backs on trans people is fucking despicable.
So, it’s your friendly neighborhood trans woman here, and, uh, I’m in a bit of a pickle. Our auto loan withdrew twice, putting us pretty deep in the negatives, and the only way they can refund it is by sending a cashier’s check, which won’t be here for about a week. In the meantime, we have bills and need to eat and put gas in the aforementioned car. So if at all possible, could you toss us a buck or two? We’re probably not going to get out of the red but I have a separate bank account that’s just empty, not overdrawn, so anything you give would go into that. Reblogging for the day crowd, we’re still in trouble so even if you just spread the word it’ll help a lot. Talking to the banks resolved nothing, so all we can do is wait and hope we can get enough help to make it through the week.
