bella bonding with the cullens

• comparing scars with jasper and talking out her traumatic experiences with him
• he wouldn’t call himself a therapist but he’s very good at understanding emotions and helping people deal with them
• cooking with esme! often joined by another member of the family because all the vamps are interested in the culinary arts now that they have a human around
• bella likes to bake a lot of desserts. she and esme have made their fair share of extravagant cakes
• emmett always jumps in with ridiculous ideas that definitely wouldn’t taste good but they humor him and cook up his experiments anyways (bella has to taste them and 9 times out of 10 they’re disgusting)
• carlisle helps her out with homework! history report? he was probably around during the time period, so he gives her some interesting insights and helps her understand what things were like
• he’s also extraordinarily well-read so he recommends a lot of obscure books to her
• shopping with alice but like, to actually find clothes that suit bella that she wants to wear. alice wishes she would dress up more but she’s also great at finding things that are just bella’s style
• going to home football games with emmett! carlisle will never let him play sports but he’s the team’s number one fan. he drags the whole family along but he really gets bella into it (much to her surprise)
• they become a friday night staple, what with emmett carrying her around on his shoulders all night, both of them painted up in school colors and carrying a plethora of noise makers
• rosalie teaches bella some basic mechanic skills. she claims it’s stuff everyone should know, but she really does want to help bella out (and get her to stop relying on jacob for all her car problems)
• FAMILY MOVIE NIGHTS! each week, one person picks a movie for everyone to watch. the genres vary greatly but everyone has a fun time and bella gets to know a lot about everyone’s tastes
