Why if I comment on something do I then get notifications of each subsequent comment? Like these have nothing to do with me. You’re blowing up my notifications for nothing Tumblr. I don’t care that such and such blog I’ve never heard of liked or commented on a post I commented on. They have nothing to do with me.
This is actually hella annoying and I want it to stop! Not my post, I don’t care.
I literally just noticed this like 15 minutes ago. And like with any sort of fuckery that all of a sudden happens on tumblr, I immediately turned to General Settings> Notifications and I’m pretty sure this little asshole is to blame. Mine was on the ON position when I checked.

Oh my GOD I thought this was a glitch! Not a horrendous new setting! Wtf tumblr?? On a site where posts can get thousands of notes how is this a good idea??!
This is a very weird thing for them to roll out, but even through all their dumb things at least they give us the option to turn them off..after we find it.
