oh my god I’ve been having problems with tumblr seeming like it was super getting throttled by Comcast for a while with 90% of pictures and videos not loading or taking for.fucking.ever to get like 1/3 loaded and then stop and that’s absolute bullshit when speedtest.net and fast.com are alternately showing my download speed between 30 and 50 MBps

so then I went and found that big vpn comparison doc (which took a while to load, go figure) and after checking a couple of things I ended up just installing the tunnelbear chrome extension and BOOM immediately tumblr is unlocked and actually loading every single thing instantly without any issues

so yeah heads up Comcast is DEFINITELY throttling the absolute shit out of tumblr, get yourself some means of even lightly encrypting your traffic
