This is a funny one for me, because if someone says “It’s got problematic content like sexism, homophobia, etc in it” I’m just nodding along like yep, it’s got all this shit wrong with it. But if someone says “This is stupid and bad and I don’t get why people like it” I get genuinely upset

pointing out problematic stuff = valid
making fun of it because they personally don’t like it = trash
