Like, I’m no politics expert, but militarizing space is a fucking terrifying precedent, and with the military already sucking up half the national budget this is gonna send it even further through the roof in a country where- what, 40% odd suffer/risk malnutrition? School funding is being gutted/ has been gutted for decades? Flint STILL doesn’t have clean water, and countless towns and reservations don’t either? Like, even MORE money is going to be STOLEN from the starving and poisoned and put to murdering foreigners with lasers from space. We thought drone bombing was scifi bullshit that would never work, and now we’re murdering civilians with them; just wait until they get a fucking space missile platform for fucks sake.
