Instead of saying “X is illegal so its bad” we should start saying “X is harmful/ immoral/ unethical so its bad”
The law has nothing to do what is right, and what is wrong, laws are not a reflection of morals and ethics, they are ment to provide an illusion of safety to the working class and to justifiy state violence.
LAWS ARE LITERALLY STRUCTURED TO REFLECT MORALS AND ETHICS. MURDER IS HARMFUL AND IMMORAL SO ITS BAD. THEREFORE MURDER IS ILLEGAL.

There are also a lot fo racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic and ableist laws
that actually allow people to murder/assault/harass marginalized groups an example are Trans/Gay panic defenses
and i dont need a law telling me not to kill people, because 1 i dont wanna kill people and 2 we as humans know its deeply wrong to take another life
