I know people like to use Autism Acceptance Month, which is good for when it’s for allistics especially, but I want to emphasize something more, and something for autistics too.
It’s April now, so that means our collective autism is at its height this month. Even if A$ works it’s hardest this month, know that it’s because this is the month we are too strong for them to ignore. (One day the training weights will get removed, and nothing will stop us from being heard and understood.
For Autism Awesomeness Month, I’m going to post about small awesome things I do and experience as an autistic person in my daily life. Theoretically once a day, but given my executive functioning, probably less. I’ll tag them ‘autism awesomeness month’ and I’ll also follow that tag in case anyone else wants to too.
